The Game Programming Club is interested in the programming aspect of game development. The club will explore algorithms and topics used in 2D game creation (most are easily transferable to 3D). Throughout the club an engine will be built and serve as the foundation of all games created. Game Engines are the convenient and speedy way of creating an awesome game by using a wide range of generic and specific libraries while doing the least amount of ‘dirty’ math and structural work as possible. The club focuses more on concepts and their application to better benefit members in the short and long term. We will rely on our own clever ingenuity for creating our games opposed to relying on external tools.
